About the FTC-GB Club

Formed in 1991, the Ford Taunus Club – GB [FTC-GB] is the only club in the UK specifically dedicated to, and catering for, the Ford Taunus range of cars built from 1939, onwards.

The FTC-GB Club welcomes all versions of Taunus including specials and modified examples, no matter of condition.

Our aim is to promote the Marque and give assistance to owners to help them get the most from ownership of their Taunus cars.

The FTC-GB Club and its members form a great knowledge network helping owners to locate parts and suppliers through to giving advice on all aspects of ownership and maintenance.

Within the Club we have wide range of technical expertise and specialist parts suppliers, with help and advice always on hand. Whether you own a pristine Taunus, a modified, a daily run-around or are restoring a vehicle, we are the Club for you.

History of the Taunus RS

In the Autumn of 1967, a sporting version of the Ford Taunus was unveiled. Called the 15m RS (P6), the 15m RS can lay claim to being the World’s First Rallye Sport (RS) badged vehicle produced by Ford of Germany.
